Intro to Math Olympiads

Class Schedule: 12 classes from 6/15 - 8/31 on Thursdays 8-9 PM EST

Description and Goals: This course is an AMC and AIME preparation course, which is designed for those wanting to consistently qualify and improve their AIME score. The course will cover problems and techniques in Algebra, Counting and Probability, Number Theory, and Geometry. The course will cover problems over a range of difficulty, from mid AMC to late AIME, and will help students at various levels to improve their scores. Problem sets will be high quality problems from various sources from the vast experience of the instructors.

Prereqs: Students interested in competition math at an AMC 10/12 and AIME level are ideal for this course. A basic background in competition math is helpful but not required. Good things to have are: an understanding of Algebra I and basic geometric concepts.
